How I Work

I use an integrative, relational approach grounded in presence, empathy, and safety. My practice blends somatic awareness, narrative reflection, and person-centred values. Together, we make space for both pain and possibility, for reconnection, creativity, and change.

I take an integrative, holistic and relational approach to therapy. Weaving together different evidence-based therapeutic approaches and practices, we’ll tailor sessions to support you how you'd like.

Compassion, humility, courage and authenticity underpin my work and I believe they are essential in our work together and throughout life.

I affirm neurodivergent ways of being, celebrate LGBTQIA+ identities, and hold a trauma-informed framework to support healing at your own pace.

Integrative therapy invites us to be curious, compassionate, and creative with the complexity of being human.

What happens in a first session?

The first session is a time to get to know each other and explore what’s bringing you here. I’ll outline confidentiality, talk you through how I work, and invite you to share at your own pace what feels most important, what's brought you here and what you are seeking.

From there, we’ll begin to shape the work together. There’s no pressure to arrive with the “right” words. You’re just welcome to bring your full self, however that looks or feels.

If it feels right for you, we might use creative expression such as drawing, symbols, or visual metaphor to support insight and expression. This is entirely optional and always led by your preferences.
